Dr. Dirk Müller Sensei began Aikido in 1986. After the first years under instruction of 6th Dan, Christian Tissier Shihan 7th Dan and Franck Noel Shihan 7th Dan he was introduced to Yamaguchi Seigo Shihan, 9th Dan who´s teachings inspired him deeply. In 1990 Müller Sensei met Seishiro his current teacher and became one of his few western Deshi. Endo Senseis way of „Kimusubi“, the focus on “center connection“ and the research for natural movements became important parts of his practice. As MD and TCM Naturopath he also intregrates his knowlege about the energetic qualities of yin and yang into his practice and teachings and is especially interested in the „inner work“ of Aiki practice in connection with the partners.

Dirk Müller taught Aikido for 15 years at the University of Marburg / Germany before he founded the Shoshin Dojo in Hamburg in 2004. He teaches seminars in Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Canada and Croatia and has started to conduct seminars also in Israel and the USA. He also travels a lot to train under Endo Shihan and other top aikido instructors and he organises every year several seminars with high ranged international teachers at the Shoshin Dojo in Hamburg and the connected networking Dojo´s.
